Opportunities for Giving

One of the reasons that KiderMourn has stayed strong and has continued to grow for over 25 years is because of the generous support it receives from individuals, corporations and foundations.  Our supporters give in many ways ... through volunteering their time and through financial support.  All gifts, regardless of their size, make a lasting impact in the lives of grieving families in our community.

Each gift, regardless of its form, is an important one.

Volunteer Opportunities

One of KinderMourn's greatest assets is the dedication and time given by our wonderful group of volunteers.  The organization offers a wide variety of possibilities for individuals to give of their time and their talents.  Whether you are looking for a one-time project or ongoing involvement, you time makes a difference in the lives of our families.   Please contact Pat Jones for further information about our Volunteer Program.

Healing Hearts Society

Established in 2001, The Healing Hearts Society is comprised of individuals who contribute $500 or more per year, which may be paid in one lump sum or over the course of the year.

KinderMourn Friends

Throughout the year, individuals are given the opportunity to make a gift to the Annual Fund, which supports KinderMourn's greatest priority...to provide counseling services for grieving parents and for bereaved children.  Gifts may be made in honor or in memory of someone special.  KinderMourn will send an acknowledgement of your gift.

Pathway of Grace

For a minimum of $100, you may purchase a brick in the Pathway of Grace in honor or in memory of a loved one.  Each brick will be a visible part of the entrance pathway leading to the KinderMourn home.   Proceeds form the sale of the bricks help fund the programs provided for grieving families in our community.

Library Fund

Through donations of cash and in-kind gofts, KinderMourn's library continues to grow.  The Grief Resource Library is a wonderful resource for grieving parents and bereaved children and their families and friends.  Books may be given in honor or memory of loves ones.

Other Ways of Giving

Gifts to KinderMourn may come in the form of other assets, including stocks, real estate, life insurance policies, or charitable trusts.  In addition, cash gifts may be paid with Visa or Mastercard.

For more information please contact the Director of Development, Shana Plott, at 704-376-2580.
